i like the things that are not pretty, that are just there, the realness, even if it is dirty and hard to look at. the man peeing between the newspaper racks, the strange lady who wants to feel my leopard coat, the lady with the huge stitches that look like they are holding her head on her neck, just barely.

i like movies that end badly, with noone winning, with death and bad haircuts, or someone just riding away on a bus to nowhere.
